With the start of the new school year comes the age old riddle of how to get the children to and from school, and how to supply them with adequate transportation for their sports and field trip activities.

California has the strictest school bus safety regulations in the country. Be-cause of this, driver’s come from other states to take this special training. When a driver can pass the MTS program, they can drive anywhere!  One of the primary services MTS pro-vides is to public school districts. Even though many of these entities operate their own transportation system, many times they are unable to cover all their transportation needs and contract without side sources to handle transportation shortages.  

MTS specializes in covering sporting events and field trip activities for school-aged children grades K-12. Many districts find that MTS can provide the similar—or even upgraded transportation services - at a lower cost.  Because MTS maintains a wide range of transportation vehicles in its fleet, including luxury touring coaches that are great for long field trips (although not allowed for home-to-school pick-ups or deliveries). Many of the school functions can only be serviced by a “SPAB” (School Pupil Activity Bus) driver, which prevents many tour bus companies from qualifying to conduct such runs. Only a SPAB driver can transport students at or below the 12th grade level MTS prides itself on being a quality value alternative, and on developing client relationships that gene-rate repeat business. Most of MTS’ contract are based on pro-viding personalized service to meet the client’s needs, and a commitment to being more responsive to the individual needs of the customer.

For private schools, many cannot afford  to operate their own transportation systems.
