EASTBAY Works Helping Job Seekers, Employers

MTS has developed many valuable relationships over its 18 year history. Every issue we hope to tell you about one of these, so that you too can take advantage of resources that have proven themselves valuable to the community abroad.

The premiere resource focus is on is EASTBAY Works, located throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties providing a wide-range of free resources for both job seekers and employers.

MTS met with Debbie Stehr, Business Services Rep for the San Pablo Career Center. Debbie explained that EASTBAY Works provides consulting to match and build your workforce needs, workforce information, taxes, unemployment insurance, labor market information, and, can even provide interviewing/meeting facilities, to name just a few of their services. “We’re a one-stop center where employers can go to assess and find competent staff, and then make sense of the hiring and human resource process.“
